We have an exclusive opportunity for you! Enjoy hands-on learning, expert workshops, small classes, and global connections. At Phoenix Magnet Academy, we believe that education thrives when diverse perspectives come together in a dynamic, engaged learning environment. As an independent BC high school with an international focus, PMA offers a globally minded education for students in grades 8-12. Our diverse student body enriches the learning experience, fostering cultural exchange and a strong sense of community. We are excited to extend this unique opportunity to local families who value academic excellence, global perspectives, and active community participation. 

Invitation

We are inviting a select number of motivated and high-achieving Grade 8 and 9 students from our local Sea to Sky community to join us. To support this initiative, the PMA board will subsidize up to 15 local day student seats by over $18,000 each for the coming school year – an educational opportunity valued at over $20,500. Your cost: $2,000 per student for the September 2025 intake.

At PMA, we foster a dynamic learning environment where driven, academically strong students from around the world come together to challenge themselves and grow as global citizens. This initiative is designed to enrich our school community by welcoming equally engaged local students who are eager to contribute, collaborate, and thrive alongside their international peers. We are seeking families who share our commitment to academic excellence, cultural exchange, and active participation. We welcome those who are ready to engage with our faculty, students, and programs through volunteering, collaboration, and meaningful contributions to school life.

University Entrance

Our Phoenix Magnet Academy graduates have been accepted at University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McMaster University, University of Victoria, Trent University, University of Birmingham (UK), and the University of Alberta.
