In Grade 12, PMA students create the expedition that will lead them to their future goals. In Academics, our staff assist all students who are applying to post-secondary or pursuing new careers. In Career-Life Connections, students apply for the scholarships and bursaries that will fund their post-secondary education.
In addition, our English teachers read and edit the cover letters, university applications, and bursary or scholarship applications for all students. Our teachers can also provide reference letters for post-secondary applications. Lastly, students are taught the strategies needed to excel in any job or university interview that comes their way. We continue to offer a range of excellent courses that will satisfy university requirements including Pre-Calculus 12, Composition 12, and English First Peoples 12. We also use class time to fully prepare students for their mandatory Grade 12 Literacy Assessment. In Experiential Learning, students continue to embark on life-changing outdoor excursions that will build skills, leadership and character: examples include flight school, sailing lessons, and community volunteerism.
With Grade 12 completed, we send our students out into the world with the attributes they will need to become their very best selves and to be healthy, productive, compassionate humans: undaunted by life’s challenges, and always rising to meet their goals.
