Phoenix Magnet Academy is an International School; we support learners from many different cultures and language backgrounds. With academically motivated students and the British Columbia Dogwood Graduation Program at the core of our program, PMA has established minimum English Language competency requirements.

Prospective students should have TOEFL scores of 30 to 34, and IELTS scores of 4 to 4.5. To support our students, PMA provides in-class and after-school English Language classes intended to develop academic writing skills and improve standardized test scores for university entrance requirements. Of course, as part of the BC education program, PMA offers French during regular school hours, as well after-school instruction in Spanish, Latin and other languages. These services are available by request, either online or in person.
